About the

Alexandra

The Alexandra joined the Thames Rivercruise fleet in 2022 and has undergone a refit to bring a new style of vessel back into the fleet. The Alex is the perfect summer river cruiser, we can roll up all the side sheets and have her as an open boat with a lovely through draft on a warm day or, if the weather is not on our side enclose her. Built in 1980 she is a single deck vessel and has bench seating, a small bar and onboard toilets.

Passengers love her for the fresh air and back to nature feel you get onboard with such an open feel as we navigate stunning stretches of the Thames. You will often find Alexandra (or The Alex as we often call her) operating on our 45, 60 and 90 minute cruises or with live music onboard in the early evening.

The Alex has a level deck but does not currently have wheelchair accessible toilets.
